I think smoked tails only looks good on black cars if I were to smoke tails I would smoke only the brake light and leave the turn signal visible.

That looks dark as hell. Do you guys not worry that the dimmer light might confuse or delay someone in the car behind you? Or is this not really a problem? i think cops around here would hate on me all day with black-ass tails.

They might just look like that because there is no light on them because the pics have a dark setting.

Hey Rajca, once the spray is on is it on for good or can you take it off?

Like Rajca, I also used VHT nightshades with 3 coats of clear coat. They are matte right now, but I am debating whether or not to buff them out to shiny.

I used the darker Rockblocker on mine and output was the same. If you were at an angle (off to the side) it is a little dimmer, but that really doesn't matter.

buy two cans of this VHT nightshades

One each for your tails and headlights. This stuff is great, look at my above post to see how my tails look. The great thing about this spray is it can be easily removed if you want it off. After applying, use a lacquer clear coat (its not paint, its a lacquer) and you can then buff it out to give it a shine. I left mine matte black.

I live in Florida and I know a cop. He told me this tint was fine when i hit the brakes, remember though, I used VHT Nightshades, specifically designed to allow red light through.

I can't say the same for film tinting on there.

I really don't care for the tinted tails...

I used to but the look doesn't do anything for me anymore.
