it is funny how when the op was posting the car for sale here people are bashing the car don't worth that much. and now with all the "sssick" comments lol. there is a reason why his car look the way it is, the owner spend the $ to get it done right. those who bashed simply just "don't get it" and their tl will always be just trying.
to be honest i think it is a waste of time to even show it to here, it is just not at the same level.

you could achieve the look of his car with the low side of 3-5k in your pocket. not really out of reach
stick with tsx. if youre good at that? before bashing the TL guys. they have earned the right to their opinions.

1k of coilovers will achieve the same look and drop.. just have to drive more carefully as it is semi-permenant...
and for TSX.. you give me 6k for the exterior look of a TL and it WILL be on another level, i promise you that.
i've only dumped about 2k into the outside of my car, and its already worlds apart from a stock TL. give me 4 more thousand dollars.. and some crazy shit would be goin down.

Im the one who said 25K is too much for the car. 10 year old car that books for ~6k with some mods (19K?) doesnt add up to 25k IMO. Its one thing to take the value of said mods, take 60-70% off and base your sale price on that, but seems to me like he is trying to get cost of labor out as well. I would paint that color if I had the $$$$i've put 10k into my 94 accord... it books for like 3k? or something cruddy like that... i guarentee i couldnt sell that car for more than 6-7k even to somebody who knew the value of the mods...

I sold my T/A a while back..only got about 1/3 of what I had in it. 9,000 for the car originally, ~12K for the engine, probably 12K more in suspension, wheels, slicks, etc. and about 6K in driveline. Car booked ~6K when I sold it. 36,000 for an 87 Trans Am? (and thats not including my probably 12k or so worth of labor) You really think I could have got that?
The sad truth behind customizing something and trying to resell it-its such a small market. IMO I would much rather start from scratch and build it myself than buy something that has already been customized

i am just saying what it is. it takes $ to make the car look nice, and this case really nice. car lose its value no matter what we knew that. however there is a small group of people who is willing to do it. those are the one that is not gonna complain spending x amount on something that is worth 6k. those are the one that will understand what it is really worth.
to be honest i personally knew the owner/family of the car, that is why i don't like how some of you posted that the car don't worth that much and at the sametime say it only takes 3-5k to make. i knew exactly how much he spent. these pictures don't even do its justice because you guys never see it in person and i have.
i see/work on alot of modified cars daily, some of the finest one on the island.
what i am saying is if it is really that easy to duplicate this one. then it is not really special to you guys anymore right? it is just a car no?
yes the owner did keep it underground, what is his post count here? he never did take picture of his own car to post up. you guys are lucky that someone else took pictures and posted here.
