Spring is in the air SSM

Well, i detailed the car about two, maybe three weeks ago. It's SOOO hard to get SSM to really GLOW! I hate it, but i love it at the same time. 3 weeks ago, 36+ hours of detailing: m105, m205, po85rd, CG black light, and V7. Gave up the black light and v7 for some black fire wet diamond. Have yet to use, but here are some shots with XMT 360.

Dont mind the blue lugs and the primer lip kit. Hoping to make a little cash on the side by detailing to get the lip kit painted and better rims.

I thought i would give the engine a good cleaning @ 200k+ miles!

Get rid of your tuner lugs, if I recall, that's not safe because the stock wheels take acorn shaped lugs while tuner lugs are tapered.

Edit: lol sorry didn't read full post about the lugs. Clean engine bay though.

Looks nice. Will look great with the kit painted. As a detailer, I feel you on the SSM thing...spend hours on it, and its nothing like when you spend time with a dark color.

Its already lowered and there is no way its getting lowered anymore. Im not a fan of having it slammed. Im good with the mild drop. Hopefully lip kit will get painted this year!

Great selection of products, 105 is just a beast on bad swirls hey? I've had great success with it as well. P85rd is just an excellent finisher also. You need some really nice sunny shots to show off your work but you can tell there's some deep gloss there. Engine bay looks fantastic as well.

You missed your exhaust tips though :P

easy! Some meguiar's APC+, some scrubbing, and some CarPro PERL for dressing and you have a nice and clean engine!

Yes, m105 and m205 are awesome products! Once you figure out how to use m105, it is superb. Used m205 by itself and it too is awesome at removing swirls!

Before

After

Ill get to my exhaust tips....eventually lol.

Looks good. And like n1njai said, I hope those are rounded lugs for your OEM wheels otherwise they aren't sitting on your rims properly so take it easy while driving lol

i THINK they are as i just cleaned and threw on two coat of sealant on the rims 2 days ago, but i dont really know as i was not really paying attention. Either way car doesn't see any high rpm or anything over 70 mph (mostly 60-65).
