I had those before I got the Tsudo's and now that I sold them, my buddy who I sold the exhaust to let me use his exhaust tips till I sell the car
and yeah i was the one who created that DIY to raise up the exhaust.

^first you gotta take off your stock exhaust tips.. use a 10mm wrench / socket. bolt is located under the exhaust tip near the end. loosen bolt and slide off.
the 3a racing tips have 3 locking brackets supported by bolts which are also 10mm.

Thanks a bunch man! I appreciate it.
Do you think a muffler shop would install straight pipes for a car? It took me hours and some questionable welding when I did my TL, I wanna do it to my project car but seriously don't wanna do it myself ever again

i don't see why they wouldn't. all i know is that muffler shops will not mess with the catalytic converters which means they won't install midpipes / test pipes. but some might do it. you never know. just ask around.

thanks! I just like the noise =) on the TL it's subtle but noticeable. straight pipers and no intake resonator was an awesome choice, now for some tips!
I want the same bit of noise out of the project ('04 A6 2.7T6spd abandoned by my dad for an S Class Merc) my pops had a gem of a car and I won't let it sit around unused, sold my X5 so time for another project =)
now for some BBS rims *drool*
sorry for the threadjack ps.
and btw I always loved your car, stance was on point. why are you parting it out?
