Ready to get sick? A-spec wheels are on!!!
Finally I get to put my Black Chrome A-Spec wheels on today!!! 
but i think they are too bling bling for my taste...comparing with my gun metal TSX wheels, i wish i could have teh gunmetal A-spec but 8.5 is just too wide on my TL so i dropped the idea
i thought the black chrome one would look darker than it is, but under the sunlight it's too bling bling...it's very eye catching but it takes me some time to get used to it LOL

doesnt look to great.. looks like its missing something.. i liked the tsx wheels tho.. whatever floats ur boat!

well...the TSX wheels have to go, it's about time...been on for a year and half and want to move on to something else
i have rolled the rear fenders to make the wheels fit, however it still rubs a little bit in turns and humps with 4 tires/wheels sitting at the back

To be honest, I liked your Silverstars better, and even the initial chrome finish of the A-Specs. There is just not enough contrast with black wheels. But, hey, it's you ride so as long as you're happy, then I'm happy

btw..that black is horrid, don't paint them or whatever you plan to do with em, you'll make the A-Spec wheels ugly and reduce the sell value of them.

Sam,
All your engine mods are wasted now that you've got heavier 18" OEM rims. I do think the A-spec rims look far better than the black ones in the pic -- not sure what you were thinking with those. The silverstars worked (I think) with your application. If you got good money for them and you were getting tired of them ... why not?
Usually the 3rd gen TL rims don't look right on a 2nd gen TL ... but this is the only time I've seen it (I don't go look for pics of it) actually look decent.
... but rubbing is never cool in my books. And even after rolling fenders, too!

i gotta show u my a spec conversion....got a 03 type s...
i like the silverstars but those r way hotter...they match perfect wit the rear tails, exhaust tops and color of the car

the car is really heavy now with the 18s...it cannot MOVE!!! damn it
but it's the price to pay if i want such look right? i can care less about few less hp since i can slap back the 17s on anytime i like
