Around 5 - 6 thousand.
That makes 2 of us.
As MurkyRiversTL said... if you look at the picture of the installed suspension, you will notice that the axle is actually removed.
Thanks! Might not drop in the motor this season. The parts are taking a while to come, so I might wait till next season to get the car on the road. Get the car painted, so the engine bay can be painted and also going for a bit of boost.
Next summer my man. She should be Candy Apple Red, and boosted

ok so parts finally came in!! but its already late in the season so I'm gonna strip the engine bay and interior completely, finish my body work and hopefully get it painted in a month
plans for paint is first a base of Orion Silver, its a silver (obviously lol) with larger sized flakes in it... I may get the shop to add a touch of red into it to give it a red tint
then throw some Candy Apple Red on top of that
should look good
I was gonna go Imola Orange Pearl (S2K/NSX) but i wanna put some ballin wheels and I think it would look better on a Candy Apple Red... plus keep it a lil more in the luxury part of luxury sport
.......
now in the meantime, im working on turbo build, will be mild, as this is not the engine i was planning on building for turbo duty... but over 400hp
the turbo will be a rear mounted setup, I plan on making a custom manifold.. 3" and remove that 180 degree bend down to a single 5" exhaust... then back to dual 3" pipes at the rear... I was thinking of true duals but then twin turbos which = more money, if my setup is successful then maybe i'll sell it to someone and do twins in the future
any suggestions are always welcome

Holy shit you've got some awesome plans. I'm staying subscribed to this thread
Candy Apple Red is going to look great on your car but I'm not sure what to think about the silver flakes before the red coat. Are they going to be very noticeable once the red and clear cures?

Thanks, well the silver flakes will turn into red flakes underneath the red, I don't think it's gonna be in your face but you will notice the sparkle under the red should be a nice eye catching effect, I hope.... My uncle paints show cars and he suggested
this combo to me..so I hope it will look as good as it looks in my head.

Here is how they looked before with the oval LEDs, keep in mind, the signals are a sequential arrow, so they dont blink all the arrows at the same time on and off.

It's hard to see because my camera was so shitty. lol
It was really hard to do because the CL's tail lights are one piece so I had to cut them apart very carefully.
It was such a beotch! I ended up putting back on my 03's when the LED starting failing.
But it was fun to be first to have them on the CL.

nice, those look really good, I wonder why the LEDs died out, wrong voltage maybe?
I gotta redo mine, because the lines arent 100% straight, and I may have damaged a strip in baking... not sure, but I'll have to check it when i get time.
anyways my idea of 5" piping in the middle may have been extravagant, so I;m thinking of maybe 3.5-4" instead

Update that I have for now! Sorry about the wait, school and life kept me busy, lol.
x2 Skyline R32 GTR Turbos
And just got the heads back from GBP not too long ago.... shaved, valve job, resurfaced and brand new OEM valvetrain
So time to reassemble the motor and get it in there. In the spring, we will be driving the car down to Florida for paint!!!!! Inside and out

why such a small turbo for a 6 cylinder car, unless you are doing a twin set up. Turbo wont be able to push much at all. You will be lucky if you can get 12psi without any boost spiking with that turbo. If you stick with a t2 turbo, i highly recommend a larger turbo, gt2871r or a gt2876. The skyline t28 turbo is a bit smaller than a s14/s15 sr20 turbo. I would highly recommend the gt30 series though.

No, it was the heads from the CL-S motor that were sent out.
The guy we had bought the motor from, miss shifted, and the timing belt slipped, and bent the valves.
So we decided to get it shaved a little bit, and then the valve job so that the valves would seat properly, and he just installed all the hardware from Acura for us.
