For this pic, I actually used Corel Photo-Paint (formerly Paint Shop Pro) and I used the Sketchpad effect, played around with the settings until I got what I liked, and then played with the brightness/contrast.

honestly i couldnt at all figure out how to do the selection box thing so what i did is take the photo, copy layer, then copy again. so now i have 3 layers of the picture. to the second layer copy i made i did image>adjustments>desaturate. so now the top layer is blk and wht and underneith is the color layer. all i did is erase from the blk and wht copy the area that i wanted to show color and there you go

Just recently started messing around with Photoshop.
Still a newb so nothing much impressive, but would like advice to make better.
Can't get rid of the grainy stuff... Is it becuz of my camera (kinda old digital)? or is there a way to fix this?
