Lightbulb Photoshoot of my Heather Mist after a bath!

The white balance on the first shot is absolutely horrid... way too much yellow and blue. But hey, at least it makes my HID look like 6000k's.

Pretty happy with the rest of the shots... especially considering it was a quick 45-minute job at a local parking lot.

Oh and my interior lighting is actually white, guess it's just the way it turned out in the shots... probably from the prolonged exposure and/or my color settings on the camera.

And in case anyone's interested, camera used was a Canon S50 mounted on a cheapo $10 tripod. Some minor cropping/brightness/contrast/levels/color balance editting done in Photoshop.

mods in sig.

I love comments!

I have the matrix 5LED 194 bulbs for maps, opaque focused lenses LED 194 bulbs for doors, and 9LED festoon bulb for dome. Bought them all from here: http://autolumination.com/

also changed my backup and license lights with xenon bulbs.

thanks man they are the 51858's. I dont have a system so it doesnt look all "saggy" as most people w/ them do.

cool. just curious, did you have to get a camber adjustment with the 51858s? I may be putting the same springs on. Also, when you have people in the back, does the car sag alot? rub?

Nah no camber kit right now... I took my car in for an alignment recently and the guy who worked on it showed me that there's a -1.0 camber in the front and -2.0 rear... not too good.
Think i'll get a camber kit once i save up enough for Tein SS + rims And no it doesnt rub, but say if you have 3 people in the backseat it does look a tad bit saggy. I almost never have 5 people on board so its of no concern to me.

thx bro hmmm let's see... ISO50 or 100 (for least amount of noise) depending on exposure, which was anywhere from 1/20 to 1", Color Balance was on Tungsten or Custom because of the lighting there, Aperture mostly on 2.8, and highest resolution/superfine compression.

Let me get this straight:

- Two matrix 5LED 194 for the maps
- Four 194 LED bulbs for the door
- One 9 LED festoon bulb for the dome

...is this correct?

Thanks.

Except for the door. Just 1 for each side in the front since we don't have lights on the rear doors.

You're right. But I don't get it. My mom's 90 Accord has rear door lights and my 99 TL doesn't.

BTW, was it easy to install all the lights? Was it easy to take off the cover for all of them? Any directions?

There was only one silver...SSM.

The heather mist is more of like a really light beige color.

Wow that is pretty strange... it would be nice if the rear's have them too! And yep, just pop off cover with a flat head (preferably wrapped with tape so you wont scratch anything) and replace bulb, simple as that

yep. its in between SSM and Naples Gold Metallic. at certain angles/lighting it looks more silver and sometimes more gold.
