Photos of 2G with 3G wheels
Anybody have photos of a Gen2 TL with Gen3 TL wheels?? I can not access the photo gallery yet. I am thinking of making my Gen2 wheels a winter set and getting Gen3 for the summer set.

You don't need access to the photo gallery to check out the Tire, Wheel and Suspension subforum.

IMO, 2G TL-S wheels look better on 2G TLs than 3G base wheels do.

But dont expect to look like this.. You need to be lowered to pull these off.. Possibly even kitted

its a tough sell, IMO the 1st gen TSX rims look 100x better and they look as if designed directly for the 2g

Id say anwhere from 300-600 depending on condition and if they have tires with decent tread life maybe more. I think they are 17x8 +55 someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Damn, that looks hot! Maybe because of the color of his car? Red one i didnt like so much. Anyone got a silver one with those rims? I got lip kit and lowered, just dont know if im lowered enough to pull it off.

I'm getting a set and refinishing them in a bright color. I don't know for sure yet which color but I'm open for ideas.

before anyone goes crazy, I just have a sick and strange obsession with neon/reflective colors. I'm thinking orange or green...

and don't worry they won't be full time rims, but they'd be fun

the non facelifted second gen looks much better with 3g wheels then the facelifted IMO

What makes phee's car look even better aside from the drop, partial kit, debadge, M5 Spoiler, 02-03 tailights and Tint is the fact that he has his chrome blacked out, especially door handles. It's the small details that count.

nope. just cut the tab for the bumper. (it sticks out) and fold the little clip at the top of the fender.

thats only in the rears. the front sits fine because the front of our cars is wider than the rear

the ride is great. my shocks blew but they have about 180k on em.

i kind of wish i would have gotten coils just for the durability of the shocks. but im just gunna get some konis and keep rolling

You can pull off the 3rd gem wheels if you do it right. I like mine. Also have spacers tbat need to be put on. And I don't have a lip kit either

COOL...have you seen anyone in person next to your s-tecs that have the h&r race springs?? on paper the drop is the same..i just can't make up my mind..

cjitty has h&r and the drop is perfect with 19's. but im dfinitely lower than him when he has 17s
