B Pillars look great...good job, what type of paint did you use? Did you sand them down?

I wanna see the shift gate on the car to decide how I feel about it. You obviously don't care about whatever concrete surface you sprayed that thing on either, lol

Thanks! As for the paint and primer, I forgot which ones I used but I did wet sand it down before I did the primer and paint. I didnt care about the concrete surface because there are already oil stains and other stains from the paint from the house haha. Anyway, I'll go get the name of which paint I used, and go take a shot of what my shift gate looks like in the car.

Great job on the pillars and shift gate, but I'd recommend going with 6k bulbs instead. 8K is overdoing it and you'll lose more light output. 6k will give you that nice hint of blue that looks great on the outside, while maintaining good light output for your viewing pleasure

Pop of the little insert on the upper right part of the ring with a flat head screw driver, then use the screw driver and stick it into the hole with the handle facing the passenger side of the car and pry it up a little, just to get it started...once you get it started, just go around counter clockwise slowing forcing it up with your finger and the ring will pop. Once you get that off and you twist off the shifter knob ( thats a bitch..dont worry it wont break), start on the bottom right of the silver piece and kinda just wiggle it around. Usually i try pushing it horizontally towards the front of the car and lift at the same time. Just mess with it and it will pop off just like the ring. There ya go!

I just painted everything flat black last night and i really like the look. The paint is really easily scratched so i might re paint it with different paint, but i do like the all black look.

Well here's an update. I installed my 8000K HID for lowbeams and they look great! thanks Ed for the great deal, and not only did I paint the shifter piece gauge thing, but the ring around it. The piece that needs to be taken out first...

so from this,

to this,

to finally this...

Nope. Took me less than 10minutes to get them off and about 2hours of sanding and repainting them all together. Did it on a nice hott warm day so the paint could dry faster

Well, my plan was to go ahead and get the window visors and lowering springs... BUT plans changed as of this week. Car is starting to crap out on me and too much money to pay for the fixtures when I can just go ahead and buy another car. And the day has come. I'm going out today to take a look at some TL's and TSX's. Wish me luck. It maybe a used 05-06 TL or TSX or leased 09 TSX =D
