opinion on caliper color

I was mucking with Photoshop the other day trying to decide on what colour to paint my calipers. I've narrowed it down to red or blue. Please tell me what you're opinion is.
I will be upgrading the brakes soon to the Legend 2 piston caliper, replacing the rotors and brake lines with SS. I still have time to decide but its nice to have a second opinion.
Oh and I know my car needs to be lowered, so dont even bother mentioning that!!!

Well my opinon is this:

I would color the callipers the same color as the car itself. To me, that'll look more cleaner and smooth. If you get like a different car such as red, you have stock callipers, not Brembo.. U follow what Im saying? Choose a wise color and make sure its high intenisty paint, dont want the paint to chip.. Take it easy!

P:S Im doing mine heathermist or silver, depending if I can get heathermist in a spray paint cans from Acura

Blue would look pretty nice, but get a darker blue when you are actually painting the calipers.

I already have the calipers silver, just they are starting to rust. I've had that color for about a year and a half now (same time as owning the car) but I just find it is bland.
I'm definately not trying to make them look like brembo or willwood calipers, I just want them to look better and look different. Besides it will be a definate upgrade with 2 piston calipers from the legend (which I just ordered) to start with so it wouldn't hurt to paint them and look great. It's not like I want to paint them Yellow as that would be too much for sure and ricey!

I already have the red caliper paint kit so I'm aware of what I need to get the job done, but now I'm having second thoughts about red.

I agree but the Dupli-color kit comes in that type of light blue. Only spray is darker, which I really dont want to do as I would rather brush it on. Less of overspray.
Here is the original pic with silver btw.

There is the link to what i did to my calipers. I like it!

Just choose a color that you will like for a long time.. or at least until you have time to redo them! (again)

I am not a big fan of painting calipers unless they are all discolored. Case in point is the Baer brake kit I put on my Camaro - I didn't paint them becuase they were the same color as the wheels and became almost invisible.

Well I think I'm leaning towards a dark blue paint, haven't decided 100% yet.

Special e. edition I saw your link, not a bad idea for your paint job on the calipers. I may use that idea on mine.
