DFUNKMASTER,

Nice TL. I really like those wheels can you give us some specs like brand, model, offset, fitment, etc. I'm curious if they would fit my 2000 TL.

Also, do you ever make it up to the KC area? If so send me an email, I'd like to you TL in person.

Im new at this, but gradually learning. The wheels are ADR GT Sports (18's) with a +40 offset. I know anything less than +42 is not supposed to be good, but I trusted the guys where I had it done.(said they have put +40's on Legends before) After I put Eibach springs on, it was just barely scraping in the rear. More so on one side which I couldn't figure out why. Anyway, Im getting the fenders rolled tomorrow. (thats not going to screw anything up is it?) Sooo...the wheels, springs, and front bumber lights...thats it for mods as of now. I think it's time for performance accessories. You think I could use a spoiler?

KC, I just moved to Tulsa and I was supposed to see Paul Oakenfold spin in KC a couple of weeks ago. Drop you an email if I ever get up there. (you like techno, house, trance?)

Edub, thanks for your help buddy.

Not bad to leave it that way but you could click on the album you want us to see and post that URL. To post pics like I did above just do this:

[IMG]xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[/IMG]

Where xxx is the address/URL of the pic to post. I went to your Photopoint album and clicked your TL album. Then I click the pic I wanna see so it's on a Photopoint page. Then click it again so it's the only thing on the page (no Photopoint junk around the pic). Copy that address in your browser and paste it between the Image tags (like shown above). And you're set.....cool?
Thanks

Very nice car. I have a 1st Gen myself. Let me know how your fenders turn out. Are you doing the qurter panels too? How much for the whole job? My 18s rub too and I have a 45 offset.

Question

I love your car dfunkmaster. i have a 1st gen myself(silverish gold) and i am getting some 18s on it shortly and i am glad you are a member because reading what you wrote made me feel better bout my rims i am getting. they are a +42 and they guys there said they usually run around a +40 and they said they would test it. i will more than likely get the fenders rolled but what is involved in getting the quarter panels done too 96tl?? DO NOT GET A SPOILER DFUNK! i like the new gen TLs but ours is more luxurious looking and a spoiler would not do ours justice. i wish they had not of changed the body style so drastically. i am not saying this because i have a 1st gen because the new gens are bad as hell. what can i say...i just love acura's!! they are awesome either way you go! you think i will be ok with my rims i am getting?

JUST GOT THE FENDERS ROLLED. HAVEN'T DRIVEN IT YET, BUT THE DUDE SAYS IT'S GOOD. HE SAID THEY HAD TO TRIM A PIECE OF PLASTIC ON THE BUMBER. JUST A WORD TO THE WISE FOR FELLOW 1ST GEN'S. THIS MIGHT HAPPEN TO YOU IF YOUR OFFSET IS ANYWHERE NEAR MINE, SO CHECK IT OUT IF PLANNING ON GETTING EM ROLLED. GENERALLY SPEAKING, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR NEW SPRINGS TO SETTLE?? ANYONE?? I REALLY HAVE NO CLUE...

WBUCH, THOSE CLEAR BUMPER LIGHTS ARE ON THIS SITE FOR $98.00. i THINK IT'S LIKE $110.00 PLUS SHIPPING. YOUR 18'S SHOULD BE FINE. BE MORE WORRIED ABOUT THE REAR. THEY SHOULD TUCK, EVEN IF IT'S A LITTLE BIT. LETS CHECK EM OUT WHEN YOU GET EM!!

Nice pictures! Definitely leave the spoiler off unless you can find a subtle lip. I would go for the inspire taillights!
