Drove down to n1njai's (Justin) house to "work" on our cars with his friend. I moved on from the GS300 pretty quick and picked up a LS400, loving it so far and I'm pretty content on the car for a long ways to come. Just thought I'd share since I still got plenty of love for the community!

I personally think blacked out housings on a 99-01 looks sexy if executed correctly. Is it played out on 02-03's? Yes. Do you see black housings often on a 99-01? Nope. Black housings and black grill makes it look so much more aggressive. Sorry for the crappy pics, camera sucked at picking up lighting in the dark, didn't want to use flash.

well you doesn't equal the whole 2gtl community haha. it's easy for some, hard for others. it's the risk factor of ruining their only set of headlights.

yes sir, it is. already got some going, but mainly lighting mods.

i do. just going to get some megan coilovers and slam it for now. i'm more worried about maintenance since the car does have 162k miles. so after coilovers, i'm gonna be replacing parts!

yes i did.

the 98-00 LS really reminds me of my '03 tl-s. it has the reverse tilt mirror and a pretty good sound system (not as good as the bose on the tl though). i thought i downgraded from the GS to an LS, but in my own case, it was actually an upgrade. i love v8 power!

 

Dude...I've always wanted an LS....id take one anyday over a GS, it's just asking to be VIP'd out...do it!!!! And like I said in ninjai's earlier thread the black housing on 99-01 is the shit!

ya i have an 02 tl satin silver it looks ggreat with blacked out lights when i get my new mufflers put on ill post pics.. i got the blacked out taillights with black carbon fibor tips.. oh so sexy cant wait for them to get here.. if any one wants to know what there tl would look like go to ebay and type 02 acura tl blk tail lights.. i got the headlight to they look darker thn the picture

really? i thought the LS had a better system. iirc the LS had an option of standard or mark levinson sound system.

 

the mark levinson system is for the latest models for the LS.. they had the nakamichi sound system for the 98-00's, and i didn't have that option. but for stock, it still sounds pretty decent.
