Why is it that the people who have successful looking fog installs only post pics, and leave with no responses???

Actually they are 2001 coupe fogs, not sedan. I have those exact same ones on my 2k1 coupe. Doesn't look like they fit too well though...

Dude what are you talking about, those look like they fit perfectly... every other fog is either off center, horiz. or vert. sticks out too much or won't fit at all... that one truley looks OEM.

I like how they fit, but am curious about what bulb they use. I want HID lights, so i would get an aftermarket bulb set/ignighter as an upgrade. My car is a lease, so that way when I turn it in, I can put the original bulbs back in.

Thumbs up

Yeah songoku - give us the details! Very nice. Did you do the install or a shop?

About the switch - it's the Inspire Fog Light switch and you get it from SNooK. Although I think the new TL-s would use the same switch for their "road lamps", no? And he just re-arranged the buttons to whatever arrangement he wants (you can do that when you have the lower dash off to install the Fog switch).

Red face

hey guys....
Sorry for late reply...
yeah... That's 2001 Accord fog...
I believe that's 4 cyl sedan fog kit which will cost you around $350...
I Don't remember exact price though...
The fog Kit will come with switch but it was black. So I ordered Inspire switch.
If you swapt switch, it will not fit... so I had to do some modifition on the switches....
I really had hard time installing fog on the bumper...
First I had to cut out that black hole...
and Fog kit came with Nice looking bracket which will hold that fog lamp properly and also will make adjust the height...
So I wanted to keep that bracket...
But the bracket was to big for hole. That's why I had hard time.... It took me about 5hours... But the wiring is exactly same
Make sure to get 4 Cyl though....
If you buy 6 Cyl fog kit, you will need another wire that is not on our TL..
I'll will post the pic of Night shot too...
Thanks Guys...

I may be terribly mistaken but dont the accord OEM fogs come yellow? If so, did you just get clear bulbs? Or are there different kinds? Or am i just smoking something and they come clear like that. And its for the 4 dr accords and not the 2 dr ones rite?

No chocobo....
It come clear...99-00 accords use same fog..
2001 fogs are different shape..
but it comes clear though...
also it uses different light bulb...

Last....
It doesn't matter if it 2dr or 4dr because you have to modify little bit any way...
however, you have to get 4 cyl one for easy wiring work...

I've tried all of the place looking for different color bulb(specially yellow)
But I couldn't even find A/M light bulb.
It looks like 9006...(Low Beam for honda)but it's not.....
It's little bit smaller and different shape too..

Now that you know how to install it and stuff, how long would you say it would take you if you had to install a whole new one in another TL?

It took me about 5 hrs and time will not change... You have to spend lot of time if you want something gooooood~~~~~
Also if you thinkin about putting a fog on your TL make sure you have to take one of auto shop.... Because there is no room for a fog on back of the bumper, you have to cut a radiator support to fit it in.....
