I was thinking of eliminating the resinators on my 99 tl and have a straight pipe to the stock mufflers. i dont want to spend too much money so thats why i didnt get a whole new exhuast yet. would no resenators give my car a deep hum or just be annoying?

 

 

If you remove the small resonator after the cat and just replace it with straight pipe, your exhaust tone will be louder.....for a nice, deep sound that's a little louder, remove that small resonator and replace it with a Magnaflow straight tube muffler - around 22-24 inches....this is what I did and I love the sound.....the longer the muffler, the deeper the tone....I beleive that they start at 18 inches....hope this helps..
