Hey special e. dition:
I was directed to your thread by bonknhead last week. Good info, but I'd like your opinion, comparing the 235/45-17 rubber mounted to the 3G 17x8 wheels v. the 2G-S 17x6.5 wheels. The offsets are different, and the 3G combination appears to protrude outward more. While you had the 3G setup on your ride, did it track & handle well? Notice any camber change? Once the tabs were trimmed, were there any clearance issues? Styling is personal, and I like the split 5 spoke wheels on the 08 TL, which have the same offset as the earlier version of the 3G wheels that were on your ride. I appreciate your input.
