Newbie's 1st gen TL pics
Hello everyone,
I'm new in here, so greeting to everyone. This is my 97-2.5TL. Just took these. I'm getting some rims for it (18" ADR Sport).

To make your foglights not yellow anymore is really easy. If you look at the foglight area under the hood you will sell a few screws holding it in, unscrew them pull the assembly out and you will see that it is just a yellow cover, unscrew the cover and put everyting back together.

hey TLBaller, i got the Piaa Super Plasma's and they are tight as hell. they look really clean. they have like a purplish blue tint to them and the high beams are super white, really clean. they are well worth the money. i'll post some pics soon. they cost $80.00 with shipping. got them at www.carparts.com.

Thanks for the instruction Din...
Yes, those headlights are after market headlights. They are Razo Premium White ($60 w/ tax) from Nopi. They are very bright, clean and definitely NICE... - I didn't know this site until lately... but seem that the owner of this site carry a lot of stuffs for our cars. Before, I have to run around and ask. I guess I won't be do that anymore. By friday, i'll be free with final exams, therefore I'll have a few things to do with my car over the weekend: removing the "nasty" yellow fog , having the black sideskirt paint white, tinting the window, and will try to do that mesh grill by the instruction from unx979.
---------------------------------------------
i've done the gutter guard grill thing and it looks hella nice. In order for you to take the upper grill off there are three clips and three screws. the screws are easily taken off, but the clips take a little bit of skill. use a flat head and make sure you're pushing down on the clips before you pull the grill off. obviously unscrew the screws first. Once that is off, it's fairly easy to make the grill. I started off by making two pilot holes for the acura emblem. And then i screwed the acura emblem back onto the grill. Now that the mesh is against the grill, you can use a dremel to cut the mesh so that it will fit flush in the grill. You have to be fairly precise cause on the bottom, the chrome part comes really close to the plastic grill. Remeber to cut out holes for the nobs that help line up the chrome piece and the plastic grill. I had to try it a couple times before i made the mesh turn out straight. It's really hard cause the grill is kinda curved. All you need is a steady hand and a lot of patience. took me about three tries, but good luck =)
---------------------------------------------
I thought that you guys who don't have the mesh grill on the first TL may want to take a look at this again, if you have seen it before... but you may have to go inside the forum to dig it out again... i PASTED it out for you to see.
Thanks for the replies guys
