wow nice chops. the volks look like they have rubber bands on them lol.

as for which wheel, i love the setup you have currently. as for the other wheels, i'm not sure on the gold with the volks and the other five spoke wheels are nice clean wheels. tough choice man.

Yeah im having a real hard decision on deciding what to do. Reason I want new wheels is because at all the carshows I go to, I feel that my wheels are my downside. I had judges tell me that. I think im set on bronze wheels, bronze+red has always been a good look to me. You guys have any other suggestions for bronze wheels?

And yo Eugene, I saw ya. Car was lookin good. I just finished my semester so im free for 3 months, def. gotta get together and chill.

wow photochop my wheels pleaeese =]

the volks are nice but i dont think they match ur color much

the 5 spoke enkeis? are nice but then again, they reseamble the oem typeS wheels so much, mind as well just keep the stocks and not spend money

so either stick with stock or go with volks. but something needs to help set off the wheels, hate to say this, but maybe a tiny gold pinstrip? photochop that.

lol its all good, technically most people here copy each other.

Gettin alot of mixed reviews here, and I have no idea what to do. vzuptnguyen, yeah I though about choppin the door handles and the rest of the chrome stuff to a bronzish color. What ya mean by a gold strip? Like around the edge? I like the Enkei's cause they are 18" and are aftermarket, people at carshows tell me that its better to have something aftermarket rather than OEM. But the CL-S wheels are so hard to beat...

Im gonna mess around a bit more and see what I come out with. I was thinkin of possibly getting these:

But i'm not sure about all that white in there.

i like the enkeis but the volks look so much better.....the only thing i see with the volks is that they are too light....(in color).....i say go a little darker bronze or try out the same design in silver......either way volks hands down.....

^That would look good on your car, but I dont think black wheels flow with red. Makes it look like beater wheels, and gives that "something is missing" sensation.

dreem1er, yea I think darker would be better. How about this? I would have to take them to a wheel place and get them painted to a darker bronze, dont think volk makes them this dark. Beh, I hate choosing wheels...

Of the 2, I like the fatter 5 spokes for a big car like the TL. They def fit the car well.
The Volks are hot the first few times you look at them, but eh, not really feeling them.
The Enkeis w/ the red lip are hot for a NGM. Def not for RRP though, lol.
But whatever you get, it's going to look different and get some looks. Whether they are good looks or bad looks is the question. lol. But get whatever you like. You're the one that's going to have to look at the pretty lady everyday.

I have to say that the first picture, that photoshop with Volks....I say, in MPO, get those the way they are...you won't be dissapointed in that gold color. It really looks fabulous on your car. There are few colors that bring out best in gold, and you have one of them!
Go with anything else other than Volk Gold, and I think, you will be kicking yourself later for it
Way to represtned 99-01 tl's
It probably hard to take that from a guy that has no mods on his car other than tint and WW kit, but trust me Gold Volks are FTW. Most will agree with me.

wow i definately wouldn't make the gold wheels bronze. if they're gold, they're meant to stay gold. no reason to change them. gold on red looks really good. i see no reason why you'd want any other color.

i think it looks better in the darker bronze but you would have to see em in person to really get the effect......do a chop of the volks in silver/chrome lip i'll bet you'll love em.......

18X8 with a 45 offset shouldnt rub, just cut rear tab, and stick with a 225 tire, you should def get the gold Volks, theyll look sick.

You won't rub. It's just a hard size to find. They don't even make RJs in 18x8 with a 45. It's just a rare size.
