New Pics 01 SSM

Finally got around to custom molding my accord foglights in. Big goes out to Paul(songoku) and nathan(nathanli) for helping me out.

The foglight bulbs are Luminics JDM Yellow bulbs (2500k) and the headlights are 5000k.

btw Paul, seems like I'm trying to keep up with your mods ....next up....A-Spec spoiler....

John,

That looks a lot better than mine. Maybe I should spend some time to redo mine.

Can you take some shot in a nice daylight w/ fog light off?

BTW, looks like you are using the 01 accord fog instead of 03 which I have, is that right?

I bought the rims on ebay a few years ago. The foglights were from an ebay auction for around $60.

Thanks bro. I'll take some more day shots tomorrow. Btw, the foglights are from a 03-04 accord. I didn't use the bracket that came with the foglights. I made my own. Talk about a pain in the butt. Basically I made a template out of balsa wood, fiberglassed it, bondo'd it, sand, bondo, primer, sand, paint, sand, paint, paint, paint. The foglights are attached the base by aluminum brackets that I made. This probably doesn't make too much sense though.

Thanks guys for the compliments.

No wonder it looks so different than mine. well done. BTW, if you did not use the original housing, how did you mount the fog light itself to the bracket you made?

I mounted the foglights using two aluminum plates on either side, secured with a bolt. The aluminum plates stand perpendicular to the wood/fiberglass template.

I bought the plugs at Lowes. In their hardware aisle, they have these drawers of misc. parts and such. I bought a bunch of plastic rivets and test fitted them. I then painted them with touchup paint.

The foglight bulbs are Luminics JDM Yellow bulbs.
