Are the 02-03 lips more durable/flexible than the 99-01? cause when I scrape on my 01, it looks like I scratched plastic on the cement and all this debris on the lip shows up

Haha this is so true. When I first started to drive my car slammed, I always thought that turning the wheel going down the ramp would be an angle, but it actually wasn't... it was just like going straight down.

What I would do in your situation is... When coming into the driveway, go in straight and don't back in. That way when you're coming out of the driveway, you'll have more angle on the front of the car.

 

hence the title guys.. there is no room for me to back up again and reangle.. i'd back into the grass which is another 3 inches up lol

 

and even then.. i would still scrape.. my driveway is horrible. i can head in fine and back up fine.. but backing in is a bitch

 

you have a lot of room to your passenger side... stick close to it.. right before entering the downward incline start turning to left

 

why do you need to back in? Going in straight would be easiest I would think. Unless your driveway is really that damn small lol

You could make a small ramp with some 2x6 or 2x4 and some 3/4" plywood. That should work.

You guys don't understand till you're there, I tried angling out also, and I did what most said I should be doing, and I still scraped. His driveway is fucken puny.

 

Three things that is my pet peeve...

1. Someone on my ass
2. Not signaling when merging or turning
3. Tail lights being out
