My inlaw's very mint 2nd gen A-SPEC

Hi, I just want to share the fine images of a very mint example of a Canadian 2nd generation TL Type-S A-SPEC. Got it for a week car-sitting! Drives great!

Cheers!

those rims are sexy, i would put those on my tl in a heartbeat. I dont really like the blue trim inside but i'm defineately feeling the silver. I'm going to do that to my interior trim pieces as well, less the blue. SEXY car none the less

2nd gen TL A-spec rims hot? I think they resemble Honda Oddysey rims from 2001-2003 ... no thanks. But ... to each their own. I think if you're gonna stick to OEM rims, the silver-star TSX rims look better ...

It still smells new, and has about 53K kms (about 33K miles).

I agree there is too much blue, even the headlight housing. I wonder what it would look like with some chrome trim around the front grill.

Here in Vancouver BC, there are a lot more 5-spoke Type-S wheels around, so the 7-spoke differentiates it from others. What is disappointing to me is finding out the center cap has plastic sticker emblems that are starting to peel off due to oxidization. You'd figure they have nice engraved alloy center caps for a $40+ thousand dollar car.

Yup, too much blue. Still loving the rear wing and paint matched headlights though. I'd love to get my hands on a set, but then again I have a WDP.

Definitely needs some clear side markers too, if any are made. Other than that, VERY nice.

Those wings would not fit my TL

Yeah, those are not TSX rims, they are OEM ASPEC. But here is a full side profile anyways:

And those wings would not fit my TL, wish they made something like that for mine though.

No swap like it the way it is. Yes it should drop like 1.5 to 2". Would look nice!

Check this out to find out about the 03 A-SPEC http://www.canadiandriver.com/articles/rp/03aspec.htm

It's the same body kit acura offers for all 2nd gen TL/Tl-S. You can get one from any dealership or try the blackmarket on this forum, or even ebay. You can also order it already painted in your body color from acuraoemparts.com, but you'll have to pay shipping.

Welcome to the forum btw

looking good. you should tell your inlaws to drop it maybe an inch. I love the body-colored door handles. I dunno why Acura ever did the bling doorhandles for the rest of the TLs.
