My HDR Trial Shots

Well I found a tutorial on how to do HDR with my P&S so I decided to try it out today since it was nice out and I had the day off. I hope they get better .

Nice pics. The car looks great as usual. Those foglights are MUCH needed. Are you planning on getting the OEM kit? I think that would really make it look nice. The 99-01 front ends look really nice with it.

I see you kept your original gauges instead of swapping out for the CL-S gauges. How come? I thought you had to swap out the gauges for it to work correctly.

Thanks. I do plan on getting it some time in the future. I guess I need to get on it before they are all gone.

Nah you don't have to swap out the gauges for them to work but I am going to eventually to get rid of the PRND321 on the dash and get the bigger tachometer.

Pics look good man. I envy you for your tranny lol. I just dont like the black tails and wheels at all tho. Your car's color of blue is too dark for that, it all just runs together. Something lighter would really compliment your car better. But, If you like it thats all that matters.

Nah I don't even really like it that much I am going with a different setup if I can get some money together. The 02-03 tails, nice wheels and a kit and she's done but that is going to be a while.

Beautiful Acura TL Wheels

These are Dub Dirty Dog 5 Spoke 18" chrome wheels, 5x114.3 +45 wheels mounted on Pirelli P235x45xZR18" wheels. Love this car, love these wheels.....but I bought a new 2008 RL yesterday and traded the TL. Left with wheels looking for a home.[IMG]img]http://www.cehillweb.com/images/Wheel2_small.jpg[/img] .

It's a Kodak Z1275 12.0MP P&S w/ tripod

I just had it on my P/M (manual) mode. Auto ISO, auto focus, 0.0 exposure with it on the AEM burst mode to take 3 fairly quickly (@ -1,0,1 exposures). I've actually got some more on the way...

some of the HDR PP is way overdone on the shots. You can see the ghosting. Try setting your bracketing to -2, 0, + 2 to try to pull some more details from the darks and highlights and then tone down the PP a bit.

you can esp see the ghosting around the trees in these for example.

http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...0B2380_1_2.jpg

http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...inparadise.jpg

You can see the faint outlines of the clouds in the sky but because of the way they were processed, all the detail is lost. Try to process it so that the detail from the clouds come out, it'll help make the pic "pop"

Thanks klepto I'll give that a try but the -1,0,1 is all I can do on the camera I have now. That's the highest it will go.

Haha no I got the 3.2TL off pretty clean, but did get the Rockblocker film a little bit
If you get really close you can see it, but it's not that bad at all.

Back to cars...
All of these have 6 different pics merged instead of just 3
I put it on the AEB burst mode 2 different times at -2.0 and +1.0 so it took pics at -3.0,-2.0,-1.0,0.0,+1.0,+2.0

Most of your recent car and the ones in the original post look more "photo-like," which isn't a bad thing, but I see some of that HDR quality is missing. But it could be the camera not the post processing, are you shooting these in JPEG or RAW format?
