^^ I dont think he said it was anything special, he was just making a introduction.

Welcome to the forum. From what we can see the car looks clean, good start.
Next mod, take off the tow hook.

well then, i'll just say it again, i'd rather rock the stocks than those sports maxx. Put those on a civic, accord, or something and post it on one of those forum. You will get the props you are looking for.

^ Not really.

There is a growing number of members on here that have Sport Maxx (XXR) wheels. I must say, the new designs that they're coimg out with look nice. We know they're not the strongest, most durable wheels out there, but some of them do look nice. And if you don't have $2000, or $3000 to drop on wheels, then I think they are a good alternative.

XXR's are good considering their price. i like the xxr 521 since they closely resemble the work vs-xx which cost 1k+ in comparison. i wish they had it in silver finish though.. instead of only flat black/gold

don't feel the need to rock real legit rims when everyone is out there scoping you for them. rather not end up on blocks of wood/bricks.

I guess, I guess I live in an area where that isn't as commonplace. More importantly, you can get wheel locks for your rims. I know this doesn't stop anyone but hopefully it stymies them long enough for you/someone to notice.

Let's face it, no matter what you do, if someone wants your rims they're going to jack them unless they get caught.

If we all lived in fear, we might as well just stay in our basements, no need for cars

you may have not known since you don't venture into our regions section.. but some guy with a 3g tl had his volk le37t rims stolen in an underground parking garage over here in socal. it was supposedly a gated community iirc. he also had wheel locks on. goes to show you nothing will stop thieves from what they really want. here's the aftermath:

nice rims:

haha okay.

in other news (since no one would answer this in my own thread), i just got a radar detector and wanted to hardwire it and place it by the rear view mirror. however, i have 20% tint + factory blue tint on that part of the windshield. would the radar detector's effectiveness be reduced?

nothing special, no "JDM" stickers, no cut springs, no xxr/sport maxx rims, no tow wook etc etc etc (of course lip still is not painted yet). Your accord probably does shit over it, but like i said, i'de rock the stockies than the xxr. You have a luxury type car, with extremely cheap and ugly set of wheels. I guess if you are like him, win win situation for you!

So a car with XXR wheels automatically has stickers, cut springs and all that other ricer stuff you mentioned?

Look at this TSX. It has the same wheels as the OP:

No cut springs. No JDM stickers. Etc..

I think that TSX looks sick. I think I would rock those wheels instead of the stockies. But hey that's just me.
