This is my baby, sug (Shoog) but I need help with what modifications I need to do! I've really been experiencing problems with my brakes and (prolly due to the 20" rims) and I kno I need new shocks! I was wondering if u guys had any suggestions to help my baby look good, but feel/ride good at the same time!

lose the rims they are ugly IMHO and go smaller, like 19s or 18s and then it will look good and ride better

those rims are not ugly they just done tgo with the TL at all. 20 inch rims dont go with the TL at all either. Sell those 20s nuy some 18s or 19s with the extra dough from the sell lower it with some new springs and shocks since you need new ones anyways and it will look killer. 19s on a dropped TL looks amazing and will get more love than a TL with big rims that looks like its 4wd

20's doesn't go very well with the TL, especially without a serious drop. Either way, get those rims off of the car and go with a decent set of 18's or 19's. For brakes, 01tl4tl will chime in with very good information on different brands of rotors and pads.

Damn that's harsh. I knew he'd get flamed the second I saw those rims.
To the OP, please lose the rims and get some smaller ones with a sportier, less look to them. The TL should represent sport and class, not look ghetto. Check out some of the VIP styled TL's on here if you want big rims. It just has to be executed right.

The wheels don't go well. Chrome has been done right. Check out Boku's car...it looks good IMO.

Throwing dubs and making it look like a cadillac on hydraulics just isn't going to work.

I appreciate all the input but the reason I went with bigger rims is because u dont see Acuras on big chrome rims everyday! Im young, black, and from the south......Chrome rims 20"s or better or leave it factory is how we live! Plus they're already payed for so I gotta few things I'm goin to mod and see wut happens, give yall a little something different to look at, try to set a trend YA DIG! It's not a thing against 20's people have on here, it's more a thing about 20's that look like those and the fact that the car is sitting really high up. My suggestion is a new set of 20's, cut the tabs, roll the fenders, and drop the car low so that your tuckin dubs, not riding high on dubs. I see TL's riding high on dubs all the time around philly here and it makes me laugh. Makes the car look cheapened big time, since you can find ford escorts on dubs these days.

I think u shud do what u like....them 20's look sick....lower them on blistien basic's.....roll ur fenders.......get powerslot slotted rotors n hawk pads....if u start a trend, keep it.....don't back down....I wud keep the Jordan.....or if u can get just an outline of the jumpman it did look complete sex.....do a little paint job wid ya calipers....

The ONLY way to pull off 20s on a TL is if you slam it. Ridin' high is not for TLs.

thanx MK i appreciate it. I would agree with everyone and get rid of the jordan decal. As for the rims im not feeling the style but to each his own. As for 20s thats what im running and i thing they look good if pulled off right. Also I would invest in a nice set of coilovers like tein so you can slam you car and it will look alot better. Here are a few pics to give you an idea.
