Three Wheelin'
the one on the right is pretty hot, the one on the left is nothing too look at.
If I had the choice between the girl on the left, and your car, definitely wouldn't hesitate....to take the car!!!

What's up, the car looks great. I have a 99 tl with oem body kit. Do you have gray interior?? . Did you feel a nice difference after the headers and intake? I am thinking of doing headers/exhaust and intake!!

Thanks alot...I have tan (parchment) leather.
I felt a dif after the intake, especially the sound (vrooooooom!!)
but I felt a HUGE dif after you combine all 3 together. Those are the 3 essential mods for these cars...
Thanks Again!!

NSWAGAR,
Well, I'd love to say it's just my, ugh, "expert" detailing skills but its' a combination of both (LOL). It's a re-paint that I have painstakingly maintained since the day I got it back from the paint shop. No chips; no scratches or dings.
I use a clay bar, polish, then carnauba wax every other month.
Plus, I only use a touch-free car wash (I run 1 here in the Philly suburbs) so that GREATLY reduces swirl-marks/scratches caused by all those dirty brushes They are your paint's worst enemy...

BABYBOY21,
therockshow,
Thanks Alot...All I did was take off all the plastic that I wanted to paint and wash it thoroughly with dawn dishwashing liquid to remove all grease, dirt, and oil. I let it dry VERY WELL (an hour), wiped them down, and after carefully choosing the paint I wanted and testing it on a few different surfaces to make sure the color really looked like that, I started with a very light tack coat.
After letting that dry for 10-20 (the longer the better between coats) I applied 4-6 more coats on each piece using the same principal. Wait 1-2 days to re-install plastics under hood. The heat can sometimes make the paint flake. If you take your time, I think the results are worth are worth it.
Total amount of money=under $15
Total amount of time= around 3 hrs.

Thanks...the clay bar is exactly what it sounds like; a bar of clay. Doing panel by panel, you thoroughly wet the area first with soapy water (not too soapy though) and rub the clay bar into the paint vigorously, making sure you hit all areas of paint on the panel. This removes any contaminates in the paint and restores that smooth, silky new car finish.
If you follow that up with polish (to remove any built in dirt and grime) to shine the paint and then wax, it's an unbeatable combination. Obviously, if your paint is very oxidized and/or scratch-ridden, you may want to use a compound product to expose a fresh layer of paint before polishing.
www.topoftheline.com Great company...
GOOD LUCK!!
