do a search and there are many people who have had the same problem with the sunroof drains. just a friendly FYI for those with a lot of $$ in their trunk.....check the tubes for the sunroof and make sure they are seated in good and no clogs!! you dont wanna be like me and have to re-do the whole thing after paying close to a grand for an install.

i guess u don't know much about audio systems.
the ground wire does not run any electricity, it won't "catch on fire". 99% of systems do drill a hole for the ground wire, there are smart places to drill it and stupid places. ur installer picked a stupid place. you should have watch the install processes. also the leaks that were not caused by ur audio installers are big problems as well, those u should take care of.. its ur fault for not fixing it in the first place.
also go back to the install place and tell them what happened if u haven't done so yet.

as for the catch on fire i was speaking of the water being in there with 1500 watts RMS running through the trunk with the amp sitting in standing water. sorry i work a full time job and could not watch the install, if i had that ammount of free time i would have done it myself in the first place . there were NO leaks before i had the stereo put in, i belive the constant ratlle from the 2, 15's may have broke lose the seal on the trunk and sunroof drain. i would not put $3000 into a stereo if i have water leaks, that would make no sense .
yes i have talked to them about the problems they have caused and i have a voucher for either serivces or products, due to their error.
no point to argue about it with you. we are here to help each other.

wasn't arguing. just stating my points. if u know how to do it urself and u love ur car, why would you let anyone else touch it? i know u work, but i doubt u work 7 days a week for 52 weeks 365 (366 this year) a year.... you have time off, put ur love and heart into doing it urself.
u save money, feel better, and know its done right... and if u eff up u can only blame urself.

Not mines, but I gave my installer a few pics of how I want to re-do my system..So I'll add a few of my favorite pics:
Now if you wanna get crazy w/it, you can add a custom powered by remote game system that slides out of the sub box:

Here's some off my custom audio/video, only pics of the component speakers and headrest monitors but soon to have 12 inch L7 with Alpine 850W RMS Amp and 4-Channel for Highs.
Here's my tweeter install myself. I like it much better than surface mounting the tweeters on the triangle plastic panel. (Alpine Type-R 6.5in Compnent) All I did was take a 2 inch hole-saw and some hot glue and shabam!
These are my 7inch headrest monitors made by invision, both have individual DVD players but I have them hooked to an xbox under the passenger seat.
