No, didnt follow the DIY, and my way was harder but much more worthy.

I first ran the front driver, thru the boot, to the passenger fuse, tap into the dome wires in the fuse box. From the other 3 doors, run thru the boot, tap into the existing wire from the driver pos/neg.

The difficult thing was running it thru the boot, i used a hanger as a lead for the wires

Take out both ends of the boot and somewhat stretch it vertically, and snake the hanger thru. Thats how i did both sides. The harder part is on the passenger side, once you get it thru the boot, you need to snake it again with a ziptie to the fusebox in a visible area, its not like the driver side where u can grab it once it goes thru the little hole.

Thanks, door sills should be somewhat similar, running the wires is the easy part, just putting volt meters and all that is that only things that will cost you some time. IDK personally

^Damn I hear ya. Your car will look sick!

I sorta have the same plans for mine...A-Spec Kit, drop, black roof, painted grill, refinished wheels (due to previous owner), and some sorta system.

I've had my switchbacks and resistors sitting on top of my dresser for 4 months now and I have yet to take the time to black out my headlights and get those in. Hopefully within the next few weeks that will be taken care of

^Thank you! I just need to sack up and get those lights done haha. I'll be painting my rear "A" emblem black as well sometime soon. I'm trying to get all of the chrome/silver off of it my eventually and have it all black and white, except for my gumnetal A-Specs of course

I'll stop hogging your thread with my dreams though. The car looks great man. Keep those mods comin!

^I thought so. Posting has taken forever and it double posts when I don't want it to. Also it freezes or deletes both posts when I go to delete one of the double posts. I just thought it was my gf's internet

That looks great. I want to do this to my car also.

Did you use the leds from the diy thread, and did you have to do any soldering?

Yes, used 5mm 10,000mcd LED's with 1/4watt 560ohm resistors. Soldering was involved when connecting leds to resistor and wires.
