Installed Xenon Plasma Highbeams

Thanks to subtledreamer for recommending them!! I got my Xenon Plasma highbeams installed yesterday (the driver's side highbeam was a bitch to replace).

Here are some pics (I know my headlights are incredibly dirty):

Well, they look a tad whiter. Was your intent to match your HIDs?

Yeah, its the daytime running lights, they come on regardless if its dark or sunny outside when your car is on.

No problem! Although the packaging and color output do seem to differ from mine... it's not as white!?

Is this the same one you purchased?

I'm sure that I did not get those ones you took a screenshot of. There were another set of Xenon Plasma's with 9005 base and without the silver tip coating on top of the bulb for the same price. I think they updated their site and its not there anymore.

Nope sorry, I have no idea. You might want to try searching it on google or something.

would be nice for you if it was that easy but i think that its a little more complicated than that, although for me to turn them off permenently i just pull a fuse (#5 on the driverside fuse panel) and with the fog light mod i get this

and btw Volly what fog light mod did you do, just wondering why your DRL are still hooked up

I did the simple foglight mod by splicing 2 wires. Why? My DRL come on regardless when my car is ignition on.

what i was saying was that if you pull fuse #5 on the driverside (DRL Fuse) you'll be able to have just your fogs on without the DRL on at the same time You'll only have to turn your parking lights on to activate the fogs ie Audi

You do realise there's no such thing like "xenon plasma", right? It's a marketing gimmick... They are just bulbs with a blue tint to give more white...

Careful with Autolumination's stuff. I got some hyper white bulbs from them that were supposed to be 55W and they ended up being 100W, stupid me for not checking the bulb itself. It ended up burning the lamp holder of my 99 BMW 323i
