thas my good friend dan's car... he's baka-T on here, klepto you know who im' talkin bout.. used to have the black 97 3.0cl w/ full kit and 18" sp1's
now he drives the 95 LS400 and also a black 91 NSX w/ 02 conversion nsx-r.... and also 05 Yamaha R1

LS: custom air-ride suspension, junction produce full kit, 3pc wing, roof spoiler, fusa, pretzel, other interior goodies, wheels are constantly changing with the most ridiculous sizes and offsets...

god damn all those cars are so sick. i thought hawaii did cars right judging from all the pics.
but when i got to hawaii 27th to 1st, i saw all ricers. i was so dissapointed. i only saw one modded TL. where were all of you guys and where did you hold this meet? i was in waikiki hotels right by the zoo. one day i was by sunset beach and saw bunch of modded cars around then i asked this 240 guy wats the deal, he said it was an all oahu cruise for memorial day, pretty cool except most of the cars were riced.
also, whats with all the grand ams and impalas. i could hold my breath everytime until i saw the next grand am. are they just all rentals or are they really popular.

waikiki's a whole different world from the rest of the island man... mainly what it comes down to is cops are SO unbelievably strict about modified cars there, most of us dont even bother. i havent driven my own car thru waiks in years.... i'll roll thru in someone else's ride, of course, but seirously i cant remember the last time i rolled thru waiks in my own car, current or previous.
also, most of these cars in the pics seen above arent TRUE daily drivers.. maybe every-other-day-drivers....
its not as easy as you'd think to spot the cars you wanna see, i know this is a super-small place (hell a little island) compared to where you folks come from, mainland, but put it this way, i've seen samson's car on the road 3x or less within the past couple years.... not counting cruizes.
also of course we's all friends but that dont always mean meetups and cruizes weekly... but we sure as hell meet up @ the bars often enough haha.. at least a buncha us

ah PS theres surely a LOAD of sick cars down here.... but also a lotta not-so-great cars and ricemobiles... it's 50-50.
theres a load of modified cars for sure... but good to bad ratio is unfortunately almost same. just be happy we know all the better-lookin ones

i noticed the inspection stickers, sucks you gotta ruin your bumper with them. but then again i saw some people with the sticker holders for it. do they do yearly inspections?
its funny most cops in hawaii are asian. haha. i always hated to see that day.
and yes i did enjoy my stay. all the hot chicks gather and bathe in thongs in hawaii. and i love how a lot of hawaiins are mixed asian races which makes the best lookin girls. and how there are so many interracial relationships. i needa go there and get me a white girl =p

SWEET!! Man i need to go back home. and yup III is right with the rice and the nice. haha. back in Hilo everyone was riced out. not much clean rides. but once in a while you will find one.
The plate on the bumper is called the safety check. You have to go to a gas station or somewhere that issues it and they inspect the car for all the safety features, horn, tires, etc etc and if you pass they issue a sticker. this is what you need to register. its like up here we need a smog check. on Oahu they have something called Recon or reconstruction. basically its another inspection that you have to present on paper if in case the police stops you. if the modification is not listed then you get a ticket for it. basically thats what everyone hates on oahu.
Hilo does not have recon. thank god. haha.

Now thats the most Acuras I've seen on the islands, well besides the dealerships. Out here on the Big Island you be lucky to spot another Acura, well a newer Acura that hasn't been modded out with cardboard and scrap aluminum. Love that touch of Honda emblems on the TSX, payin' respect to the euro roots, yeah?

yeah kuni get the hell back down here man!... actually stay up there til i can get a vacation time in for LV.. haha..
wheels on the 3G tl are indeed work vs-xx... forget what's on the silver tsx. samson was on amistad's for the meet but who knows whassup with that guy. he changes wheels TOO often.. lol
i forgot the meet was this day too or else i woulda at least gone on the bike... craps
