Would you only go with the oem mats? I bought my car used with no mats, so I bought some off brand all weather mats and I like em'. Much cheaper than oem, too.

i dont really dig the black wood, unless its with an all black interior, but one of the reasons i didnt get black interior in the first place was because it seemed too dark inside, almost depressing. lol

probably oem mats, i like the quality and the type of carpet they use. ive done aftermarket mats before in other cars, and they either dont fit right, or have the wrong color.

ill probably do those exact mats that fit right over the originals eventually.

you need the handbrake, console, etc. if you use the back section (part where the armrest is) of your console youll have to cut a good bit out of it, and i cut the airvents to the rear. i think you may be able to leave one in there, but i cut out both. unbolting the foot brake is kinda a pain cause the top bolt is way up in the dash and youll need to pull the drivers side carpet to access the old e-brake line and remove that.

some people say that there are already holes for the hand brake that just need to be drilled out, but there werent on mine (late production 03) just dimples in a couple of places.

i think there is a diy on it somewhere in the forums, which will have a more complete list and set of instructions than i have provided.

i need to get back to studying for my theology test though.... argh
teachings of the catholic church is so entertaining

if you have any specific questions, just pm me.

I like what you have done to your car. I really like the hand brake conversion just like every one else. I admire all the work you put into the color change.

you could always use fabric/vinyl paint...

some people dont like the crispness after the paint dries but its not that bad. the paint smell went away after a few days too.
