nice rims i like em...paul walker wants his spoiler back

xtremex626 07-07-2012 09:32 AM

rims aren't too bad but seriously.. get rid of that ugly front bumper and spoiler. this ain't no fast and furious. you got a nice color to work with, now use that to your advantage and keep it clean, not rice!

peewizzle 07-07-2012 09:33 AM

the wheels are super nice! but yeah wing has to go, but to all their own.

UA5runner 07-07-2012 10:00 AM

wheels do look nice. whats the width on them?
but seriously lose the spoiler looks like your going to fly away with thing.:yuck:

03tLsNBP 07-07-2012 11:11 AM

because racecar!

The wheels look nice.

Forgive me for being clueless, but isn't the point of carbon fiber to reduce weight? Why reduce weight just to add some back with a spoiler?

jjashaa 07-07-2012 12:25 PM

carbon fiber wrap =/= carbon fiber parts

JDM Inspired 07-07-2012 01:33 PM

rims looks pretty good bro, but not to knock you or anything but that bumper has to go, as well as that wing. You know how that term riced evolved? Pretty much mods like this, Bodykits, and big Spoilers. I see what you tried to do with the front bumper and wing to get that racecar look but honestly it just spells rice. To each is his own, but we're all on here to help eachother in a better way.

dreem1er 07-07-2012 01:57 PM

ok so you want a spoiler, get a smaller one, and you do know that a rear spoiler on a front wheel drive, is pointless, you would get more function out of it putting it on the hood

Rockstar21 07-07-2012 01:59 PM

:whyme: such a pretty color to start with.

I'm sorry, the body kit bumper and wing look horrible.
Along with the shocker decal.

actually, downforce on the rear end is necessary regardless of what wheels drive the car. See any performance fwd track car or Racing league...

yes but a real front splitter is more useful on fwd...and i'm pretty sure that this car is not in a league...on a real race car there really isn't rice its all function

03tLsNBP 07-07-2012 02:53 PM

In all seriousness though, I really like the wheels. I also spot some nice looking race seats :toocool:

The front bumper would look fine if it didn't have those ridiculous silver side vents. Maybe paint them black? The wing....yeah it's a little too tall. But it's not as hideous looking as it is on say an old Taurus or Corolla. It goes with your theme.

R2D 07-08-2012 10:44 AM

Wheels look good! Front rice bumper and Paul walkers wing have to go ASAP! No need to rice out a nice car! This is not an Ek,EG....

kuckle1 07-08-2012 11:31 AM

I actually like his look, yeah it's a luxury car, but to be honest it really doesn't look ridiculously terrible. I like it, I wouldn't do it to my car but I like it

^^^ Agreed
the wheels look pretty good, but the rest of the theme doesnt match the car

JCharged 07-09-2012 07:42 AM

I want to light my car on fire after seeing this. Tell me why?

You should've completed the wings west kit with a stock front bumper.

Mr. Maker 07-09-2012 08:36 AM

:io:

02type-s 07-09-2012 11:21 PM

Wheels look great, color is beautiful, front bumper and wing are fucking laughable. BTW, you don't have a carbon fiber trunk, or roof.

Whats done under the hood?

Mr. Maker 07-10-2012 07:53 AM

Carbon fiber engine.

SLushhYYY 07-10-2012 06:39 PM

shocker...yo

did you custom make the seat frames? where did you mount the seat belt (the receiver where the belt clicks into)?

CLtotheTL32 07-11-2012 07:58 PM

This car makes no sense whatsoever.

ABP is a downright gorgeous color. Do the car a favor and put the stock parts back on.

HairyMonkey019 07-11-2012 09:22 PM

Nitrous buttons.
Where's the nitrous at?

Italiano 07-11-2012 09:53 PM

dreem1er 07-12-2012 02:04 AM

ok o light weight seats, but you put on heavier than stock wheels, ok you do know that adding wheels heavier makes a car slow as fuck, compared to stock wheels, you have alot going on and its kinda just thrown on.

its never what you do its how you do it, you want a spoiler fuck it put a spoiler, but find something that flows with the body not one that ruins the lines, same with that front bumper, take it off and modify it, sand it, fill it, make it yours, but out of the box it doesn't look good.

as the car sits right now 99% percent of people that see are going to call it a rice burner, how many times has someone in person said to you that it looks good?, now how many have told you its on riceroids?

well as you know sparco doesnt make base mount for the tl. so i ordered the base mounts for the accord 98-02 it is an exact fit. and u can use your stock seat belt reciever it unbolts from your old seat and has bolt holes on the sparco seats.

I know the seat belt receiver has a cable that plugs into the harness under the seat. How did you get around that? I'm assuming you just left the cable unplugged. Do you just deal with the seat belt light on, on the dash? Or did you disable it somehow?
