Fully Custom Interior LED Lighting

LED interior.. a few new ideas that was put in. unfinished for now, still working on the dash and center console. will be updated in the upcoming weeks

enough talk here's the pics.

If you look closely into the cointray, there's a white LED in there also. My MP3 player is connected to the blitzsafe adapter that is hidden away through the back.

lighting in the cupholders. its pointed straight to the headunit. it helps shine the center console nicer.

When the cointray is closed, it hides away my mp3player, revealing the LED'ed butt warmers and my Amp controller for the extra bass boost (which came with the LED already in it).

love the look with a water bottle in the cupholder! lights the whole bottle up

different angle

map light

here you can see the custom work done for the LED's in the map light

LED's lit up without the cover

LED close up

Close up, different angle

what y'all think?

more LED's still in the works. i have the Dome light done too, but it looks the same as the map lights so didnt really bother taking pics of that. i also have it done in the glove compartment, AC vents, and Glove compartment..

will update again soon

wow! nice work, especially on the shifter gate. Is that a cf trim around the shifter? where'd you get that form?

dawg, would you be willing to make me a set for my car? i bought a set off ebay but they give off more of a blue/purple hue, which is a little harsh on my eyes.

if you want it done, the car has to be here because this isnt a simple plug and play thing. you have to remember that the bulbs you buy off ebay are just LEDs plugged into a bulb that fits into your stock sockets.. but these, you have to solder directly into the wires. basicly pulling the whole harness out and just using the wires..

it can definitly be done, but it woud mean, it'll take the same amount of time to go back to stock. although, real LED's connected properly is so much nicer than cheap knockoff LED's sold on ebay, pepboys, autozone, ricer stores, etc...

First of all, YOU ARE THE MAN! Very nice mod. I wanna be the first one to request a DIY from you, for the shifter lights. Can you post a pic of the shift gate without the covers, so we can see whats doin' under there.

for the cupholder idea...the best is if u put 1 led in the middle of the individual cupholders...drille a hole there...n it lites up even brighter with bottles...ive done this with just an led taped on the bottom of a bottle...should try it...

i thought of that too, but what i was trying to do is do something like the MDX. if you ever been in one, it has a light that shoots from the top of the car, where the sunglass holder is and lights up the whole center console. i wanted to have that same look, except i didnt do it from the top, i did it from the cupholders. and yes i achieved my goal of having it light the center console. its just that i noticed it work as a bottle lighter too, but that wasnt really my main goal..

for a DIY, i could work on that later after work.. but there will be alot of money spending to do this project. first you'll need a really good set of individual LED's, remember to buy bundles. voltage regulators, resistors, diodes, circuit boards, extra wiring, solder/soldering wire, and massive amounts of patience. because all these electical parts are REALLY small, it'll be a REAL pain if you have big fingers. i'll try to get pics and everything of how it looks behind these beautiful lighting when i get a chance afterwork.

thanks for the compliments guys. i cant wait myself to get the whole interior done. that's gonna be a challenge, but will be done soon. just kinda getting hard to do since its so cold out and i cant stop my hands from shaking so much. its not an in-house project, you need a power source and you have to be right by the car the whole time to get things connected properly.

i know superfluxes are definitly awesome. BUT its hard to use those in the way i put mine in. i definitly considered it, but then again, it requires more work and money.

i havent sold the headlights yet, but im gonna be working on my new set after the winter. its too cold right now to do anything. if you still want it by then, i can just give it to you. all i really want is the money i paid for the projectors and shipping. so let's just say 100 bucks plus shipping and its all yours (for both sides)

more pics:

inside armrest console.

a closer look to the LED's and the complicated wiring inside of the armrest console.

glove compartment lighting

closer look into the glovebox lighting

center dome light

8 pieces of LED's equally distanced throughout the space in the dome light

LED's inside the AC Vents for the rear seats. it actually lights the leg and seating area of the rear so people in the back has some lighting too.

sneak preview of my experiments for the center console.

the whole center console will be updated soon. keep checking!!
