good work on the rims and red calipers. How many coats of spray did you use for the calipers?

Thanks for all the comments!

One coat. The place I got my rims at spray painted it for me real quick to see what it looks like. He told me that when i get my rims put on next summer, he'll repaint for me. So yeah...just one.

Better pray that it's high-temp paint or else it will probably flake off.

BTW, nice ride and drop that thing.

Wink oooooooooooooOOOOOO!!!

WOW!! i like dish, i like dish, dish, dish, dish. is that a 1.75" lip on the wheel??

love the way it looks, now lower that car!!! i mean it!!

the wheels are hot, but the 4 X 4 look is too much.

the 4 X 4 is making turning very unstable, don't you agree??

Question about dropping

When I ride now and someone is in the back seat...i hear the wheels hit the fenders or something!
Is it cuz of the sports suspension?
Or is it cuz the offset is 235?
My car is not lowered.
And now I'm thinking I can't lower it if its like this now.
Any ideas?

I meant the tire size is 235. Not offset.

How wide is your rim??

From 1 or 2 of your pics it does appear that the tire/wheel in the back stick out a little bit. +42 is a low offset for the TL and it sounds like you're rubbing in the back. Depending on the width of the wheel you may be able to use a 225/35 tire and not get rubbing. You can also try cutting the bumper tabs in the back. This may eliminate the rubbing. If not, you may want to roll the fenders in the back so the tire does not rub on them.

Nice looking car BTW!

Whats the width of your rims?? if its 7.5 you probably be okay with 225 tires and fender rolled. But with a 8.0 inch rim you probably still rub even you rolled your fenders.

I like it.

The wheels are a tad bit much for my own taste, but it looks good nonetheless.

Now please lower the car.

Thumbs up ur shit is sick

I like ur car ALOT. I hope you dont mind but it looks like you and me have the same taste i have the exact same car. I just ordered the oem kit today and i waiting to have it installed. I got to give it to you, you beat me to the rims but im glad you did it first so i know exactly what mine is going to look like. And i just bought the same spoiler off of ebay 85 bucks painted already. You should tint the windows. just a suggestion a 35% would really set it off. What size rims did you put on? great looking ride man.

Cool

your ride does look nice, man. . but, contrary to what everyone else seems to be saying, you wont really be able to drop it with those rims and tires. sorry to say it bro, but those rims stick out more than my dubs. my dubs dont actually stick out but they are only about 2-3mm's short of going past that side profile, which started causing rubbing after i put in the beat in the trunk. luckily, they were the perfect candidate for a very precise fender-rolling-tab-cutting operation and it was a success. i really do like the look so i hope you're able to find a remedy, good luck bro
