First Acura!

Also my very first car . Im not new to cars though, been driving all makes and models since 11. If you want i could possibly list all the cars I've drove all together. But anyways, this is my first car and I'm very happy with it. Got it for a killer price also!

2002 3.2 TL *I call it Gunmetal Grey but im sure thats not the real color for this car lol*
Black Interior
Leather Seats
Heated Seats
Bose Sound System
Sunroof
Memory Seats etc

Well onto the pictures! *these pics were from the seller

*If anyone did notice the front grill and fog lights they're stock. Fog light lenses were badly cracked, glass inside and so dirty with mildew etc.

Not even a full day with the car and i already started modding lol. Got the car at night so i couldnt do much.

1. Painted the chrome wing piece of the grill black.
2. Replaced the fog light lenses with lexan, painted the inside black.
3. Removed intake resonator, it already has a brand new k&n filter from previous owner.

Dont the new fog lights look nice?

Future mods are as is.
Leds
Rims *prob Work VS-XX
Yellow Fog Lights
Retrofit Projectors
Intake
Exhaust or either just go straight pipes
Headers
Visors
Rear roof spoiler
Coilovers
Either OEM Navi or In-Dash *my cd player doesnt work Er-E1 error. Yes ive looked up how to fix it but no luck.
Sound System
JDM Honda Inspire Grill

Pretty much it for now i guess?

146k Seems like alot *well it is.. but* it just got 5 point inspection, timing belt changed, pulleys, new battery etc. No oil leaks and no transmission slips at all! Previous owner said its always been garage kept so i suppose you can say its in great shape

this is all i have as of now. sigh i want the inspire grill but im not about to pay 150 for it, rather go to honda and look up the part number for the honda logo emblem base, what prob less then 20, buy emblems and win. 25 dollar honda inspire grille vs 150...

sorry for double posting.. after i sealed up the fogs etc i happened to look on the forum and notice everyone else who re did their fog lights left out the little ring around the bulb *idk what its called* so i tested it and sure enough theres more output of light without the ring then with, looks better too. So i took my fogs apart again took them out, got little scuffs on the paint but its all back together now.

well the Honda badge wont fit on the OEM Acura grille. its a different shape. you would have to buy or make a mesh grille or something. kinda like what i did...

except with a smaller Honda badge. mine was way too big.

i know it wont fit.. thats why i have to go to honda and find out the part number for the emblem base *what the honda emblem goes over* then itll fit.

here, i made a thread on another forum asking for help but so far no luck, maybe someone on here can help me.

you won't get a JDM part from a US dealer.. they won't even have it in the system.

Try using the old Honda Civic emblems, they're fairly small.

from one Aziner on to the next; do it right the first time.
spending the money will be worth it... especially since I ordered my inspire grill from aj-racing, they should have a new batch of those inserts this month. I ordered it and they ran out so i had to "pre-order" it, and their customer service is great always responding to emails quick.... and fitment for those aftermarket grills arent perfect, so why bother right?

true do it right the first time but if you look at it this way... i dont always have money so i cant throw it around etc but 150 just for a grille... common. Like i said though, if i can make my own inspire grille for less that looks EXACTLY the same then ill do it. if i cant find the parts then ill just shell out the 150.

if anything, i'd look around for local dealers and ask if they have any OEM lip kits and save up for that.
