depends where you are. some areas just require a little more caution, thas all. the other factor is that the island isnt all that big, so we travel nearly all of it at one point or another,... you start remembering where certain potholes and dips, etc. are

IMO. Most of the roads here suck. a lot of pot holes from the rain. Well, on the side that i live on anyways. plus, our city and county does a half a$$ job patching them.

ah very true, they halfass the patching so within a few months, the holes are there again... but worse

a lotta roads do suck down here but for my usual commute, they aint that bad. and i work/live in town now so those roads are usually more well maintained (except kapiolani blvd wtf wtf wtf)

haha. yeah i can relate to that. but hilo was not too bad. pretty good considering all the stupid rain we get. but man you want bad roads come to VEGAS!!!!. man the road can be nice and paved one day the next its all digged up with stupid metal plates going through all 4 lanes. trust me compared to hawaii VEGAS ROADS SUCK!!!. i hate driving on the roads here. i think we have one of the worse roads in the country. i still cant understand and believe how these guys run 22s on there BMWs and Benz's with 25 series tires and not bend anything. crazy!!!lol
