Finally, my audio system is in!
After almost a year of undecided planning and saving I am happy to say that my audio system is finally in!
I wanted a system with good sound quality without spending an insane amount of money.
parts:
Alpine CDA-9887 (head unit)
Alpine MRP-M1000 (mono sub amp)
Alpine MRP-F300 (4 Ch. amp)
Power Acoustik 2.0 Farad capacitor
MB Quart RVF 164 Midbass speakers (front door)
MB Quart QXC 213 crossovers (front door)
Infinity Reference silk dome tweeters (front door)
Alpine Type S coax speakers (rear doors)
Alpine 12" type X subwoofer in a sealed custom enclosure
about 60 sq ft. of Elemental design eDead V1SE
No factory wires were used.
Although I am still in the tuning process, I am very impressed on how everything sounds. Very clean, just what I wanted. The type X hits clean and hard as well.
Let me know what you guys think.

The spare tire is removed. I checked it a while back and noticed it flat with a gigantic gash on the sidewall. So I threw it out. If I wanted to, there's probably room to fit a spare if I decide to buy another one. The amp rack is bolted down tho. :/

thats one of the weirdest tweeter placements ive ever seen
do you even have anything protecting it?
and its not really my taste but nicely done system. it seems there are no people actually into a very high quality system here. just a couple of show systems and thats it?
where are all the nak heads and people who love hat...

Then again, everyone has different opinions on how they want their system to sound. It works for me!
As for protecting the tweeter, its already in the housing. Thats just how the tweeter housing is shaped.

I've been doing some research as well as messing around with the tweeter location and I have found this to be the best location. Having the tweeters close to the mids allows the levels to blend together better, because the phase. If the tweeters are too far from the midrange, such as high in the A pillars or on the dash you'll hear the tweeter faster than the mid, which will take away from the midrange. IMO, mounting the tweeter close to the mid, this is call "on axis" this will give you the best imaging.
