Don't have any picks (can't find my damn dig camera) put put the Falken 512's on my '02 TL-P about 1000 miles ago....did the +0 size increase to 225/55-16....much better looking and dry and wet performance than the stock Michelines.....happen to see them on sale at Sears....they were about $95 each but they have a price match +10% guarantee....found them for $81 each from maybe discount tire direct, if I remember.....and they honored the price plus the extra 10% ($32.00)
A good choice, get them.

Discount Tire Zone has them on sale (205's) for 56.00, do you think Sears will match that and also take the 10% off? I would assume they would match the shipping price though, which is still cheaper at 62.00. I am not sure if I'd want to go as wide as 225, are there any downsides to a wider tire (ie. rubbing problems, slower acceleration?) so I might just go up to 215's. I know there are countless discussions on tire size so I'm going to go do a search, but please still respond.

Not sure if they will include the shipping in the price match....Discount Tires Direct was offering free shipping so it didn't come into play but I would assume not.
The 215/55-16 were not available at the local Sears....not even sure if Falcons are made in that size.
As for the fit.....they are great....no rubbing issues as it is what is called a Plus 0 size increase (increase in overall diameter but a drop in side wall profile....more tread on the road....essentially they are the same size).
Much improvement over the stock Mich. in both wet and dry....They look good too.
Was also considering the Yokohama ES 100 but stayed away after reading many complaints on excessive road noise.

Good luck!!

Thanks man, so you think I should go with the 225's? I called Sears earlier and they said they would match the tire price I told them (56.00) plus shipping (62.00 total) minus like 10% of the difference. That was for the 205's, not sure if 225's will be more expensive. Also the woman mentioned new valves (like 12.00 bucks), balancing (11.00 per tire) and if I wanted alignment (69.99). Should I go for the alignment too?

The 225's were more expensive....I paid $81.00 each before the 10% disc.....I also paid for the balancing and the new valves....went for the chrome stems....didn't do the alignment....the stock Mich. were worn evenly and the steering was straight.
Really wanted to upgrade the wheels to 18", but the rubber is more expensive too and it wound up being more than I wanted to spend. So, I did the plus-0 size increase to give me more rubber on the pavement and a smaller side wall.
Going down to the 55 series from the 60 series was a good choice for me....it's a daily driver and feels a bit more planted to the road with no compromise in ride quality. I do keep the pressure @ 80% of recommended max....36psi front, 34psi rear, and will add an extra 2lbs for extended high speed all hwy driving.

Go for the 225's....you won't be dissapointed.
