Disguised license plates
I was just curious...Why do some people cover or black out their license plates when they post pictures of their vehicles?
Can some dirty rotten scoundrel frequenting the boards do something harmful to me or my car if they know my plate number?
Am I missing something here? Do tell...

why would u cover ur back license plate like a pansy when people can see your plate on the streets? You may as well cover it on the streets like a pansy. If some asshole was going to do something to you he'd probably be more pissed off at u if u cut him off or something than if u made a perturbing post.

Well.... i signed up for this thing, www.publicdata.com Only works in some states. I could look up people's criminal records..... and if i typed in a license plate number, i can find the info on the driver easily. Like where they live and stuff..... But i wouldnt be paranoid, i had my car on a nopi ad before (my prelude)... and they had my plate showin... i didnt care... ****, i was happy they used my pic!!
