Crownovercoke's Progress Thread

Ok, So I started tearing apart my car last night to clear and color match my headlights. Then decided to colormatch my grill. Now all my paint is drying I thought I would start my progress thread.

Here is the car after I got it first thing I had to do was tint those windows. 20% all the way around.

Next I painted the engine, and intake cover and made a custom short ram intake.

Then a partial debage of the rear.

Now we are to 1/5/2012-- the Job clearing and colormatching the headlights and grill
Before...

And After...

Closeup...

I used a metallic charcoal spray paint. The tint is off just a little bit but I dont think its that noticeable.

I did get board and also repainted my shift gate that was broken, melted and JB Welded by the previous owner and looked like crap.

I tried to mimick the trim on my Type S...

Working with spray paint and doing it old school instead of marbleizer and candy is a pain you only get one shot then its set.

Well that it for now....

Not bad, digging the progress so far, headlights look good, and the shift gate came out looking good also. Nice job!

Love black or matched color lights on that color.

Man that's pretty creative with the shift gate plate. Is there a quick DIY you could make?

What's next?

Yeah I thought about a DIY on the shift gate after I was done. I might do one on a test panel w/ pictures and detailed instruction in a couple days.

As far as whats next I have to replace a bunch of interior and exterior bulbs so LED's here I come. But the next big thing is Lip kit and drop.
