c0v3rr1d3 finally droppin it and new rear brakes.
After all to long, finnaly dropped it this weekend. Also finished off the rear brakes with new stoptech slotted rotors, hawk ceremic pads, and powder coated the calier and caliper brackets to match the fronts.
Also powder coated the shock knukle up front since i had it off the car anyways to do the suspsension.
Went with Tanabe Sustec Pro S-OC coilovers.
Installed Fronts
Installed in rear
New rear brakes
And finnaly the way the TL should sit. About a finger gab in the rear and 1.5 to 2 in the front. Going to drive for a couple days, see how they settle then decide if i want to drop the front a little bit more.

lol yeah, i know the color of the coilover suck, i would have powder coated them different, but my oven isn't big enough for the shock body to fit in. Thank god you can't see them with the wheels on
Install took most of 1 day (it was like 95 out on saturday), using all hand tools. Only have 2 jack stands so had to do the fronts first, then jack it down and back up to do the rears.
They ride pretty nice (but this is the frst time i've ever dropped a car), have to let them settle and brake in before i decide if i want to drop it more in the front, also gotta get an alignment done this week.
Brake are doing great, highly recommend the legend caliper swap up front. Will post some better pics when i have a chance to wash it and find a good location.

very nice. I also love what you did with the brakes. What rims are those?

Looks much better, but dude you could get a lower drop with springs. lol. No reason for that much gap with coilovers! Its not gonna settle that much. 0 gap fron, .25 to .5 finger gap rear FTW. Or even better, tuck it all in.

Maybe he doesn't want to slam it more in the front for obvious reasons: Driveway access, Speedbumps, damaging oil pan, ETC. I want to lower mines up front, but my damn driveway access won't allow me too. So now I'm rocking 2 finger gap up front & 1 1/2 finger gap in the rear(SUCKS!!!!)

Everyone gives the excuse that the roads are bad around there area, deal with it and drive slower. Going lower is well worth it even if it means that you have to slow down. If you wanted a gap between the tire and fender you should have just gone with springs.

The way I tried to figure how low I could go on the roads in my area was to keep going lower until I scrapped somewhere. When I bottomed out in the blockbuster parking lot over a speed bump that is when I knew I hit the limit. I left it that low and have not returned to Blockbuster.
