Fits in perfectly!! What color black did you use, Matte Black? It blends with the plastic trim as if it came from the factory like that.

I used the high temp header paint that was left over from painting my exhaust. They sell it at Wal-mart....semi-gloss black.

O.k. guys.....send me PM if you want one and let me know if you have the stock Battery box and cover, and what type of intake. I will probably leave these in aluminum finish so they can be custom painted to match your engine bay once you get them. I'm looking for a few people so I can make more then one at a time.

PM with any questions, THANKS!!

I would DEF take one of these but I am having issues finding an intake to fit my 99. All I see are the 2000 andup. Do you know if they are the same for the 99 non Type S?

So my question is: What intake will fit my 99 TL-P? It doesnt matter if its Injen or AEM but I DO NOT want the Comptech Icebox. Thanks in advance!

Yes Siiir!

Yes Siiir!
I had the same problem about 3-4 months ago trying to find an intake for my 99tl. I would recomend the AEM V2 intake. THE SOUND IS SOOOOO AWESOME MAN!! you just get the AEM V2 for the 2000 acura tl. it fits. I would reccomend buying from the vendor on this site... Excelerate.

he has a group buy right now on AEM cold air intakes... link here --->
https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/aem-cold-air-intake-sale-345266/

but that is not the V2, you can ask him about it.
