Was bored so got a few things done

So, me and my roommates forgot to pay the utility bill so my power was off when I got home so I was bored.

I picked up my 02-03 cupholder insert from the dealership and shaved down the tabs so it would fit snug. I highly recommend this for people, but it will not fit lerge bottomed drinks. holds medium ones perfect, no more tipping over. The CL cup holders are nice too, but require a little more modification and are more expensive. This was not bad for $7.50.

I also had some left over paint from painting my engine cover, so I am painting some more pieces and painting my DIY mesh grill black.

Will post finished pictures of engine bay and grill, but it may be dark by the time all this dries so I might wait til tomorrow.

I just picked this up tonight but it doesnt fit nicely into the slot where the two 'doors' close and open freely.

Other than those two tiny 'tabs' you show in pic 2 and 3, is that the only thing that needs to be removed?

THanks

Yes. If it doesnt fit properly its not in all the way or correctly. Make sure the piece at teh back is seated properly or it wont sit flat either.
