Blacked out Rims

So yesterday me and my friends decided it would be cool to black out my rims to go with the rest of the car, it took a while, but it was worth it.
so heres stock..

all jacked up

sanded, primed, and painted

on the car

final

better pic of grill

I haven't taken any really good photos yet, but they are really nice..

I dunno. Not really feeling it. Maybe if there was a chrome lip it would look a little better!

Looks good. I think your tails would look cleaner if you cut out the top portion of the tint though. Overall not bad for a cheap mod. Anyone ever do this to 02-03 rims btw?

i actually saw yours 2 days ago, and decided i wanted it, and went with it.
But my friends owns a shop, so we used his paint, and it looks great, but because im using a cell camera, you cant see how shiny they are..

\and i have tire dressing, i haven't had a chance to put it on yet, i need to wash the car first.

Only thing that sucks...when you get a new tires you'll probably have to repaint those wheels again.

1. they might scratch the paint.
2. that balancing weight on the wheel is gonna throw it off cause it's not painted black underneath.

Otherwise, it looks good.

When they balance it will mess them up. They have to move that little weight that's on the outside of the wheel and it will not be painted underneath where the weight was when you painted.

Hey toon 703, can you post some pics of your car? I think we might have the same rims and I am thinking about lowering my car and it might give me a great idea of how it looks.

Hey jtucker, you need to familiarize yourself with the search function. The questions I answered for you earlier could have been found with a quick search too.

Just do a search for threads started by him (his exact screen name) and you'll find threads in the Photo Gallery
