yeah.. what's so bad about wood grains that make people want to paint over it. I think it gives the car a more classy, luxurious look. but thats just my opinion..

the paintjob looks clean though..

Malayalee King, how did you get the wood grain around your headunit to match the OEM? Do the vinyl kits they make match that closely?

Anyhow removing the wood on the parchment interior doesn't look right to me, on the black interior is can look kinda sportier though, especially if you can color match the panels to the body. Just my

I don't what's so bad about the black grain... I've got numerous compliments on it from friends when i bought my car when they checked out the interior. They all like it b/c it's somethin you don't see in other cars like the normal brown wood grain.

lol I am aware the wood is not real.

As for your interior, go to Autozone and pick up some interior cleaner.

I think it looks decent. I was thinking of painting my either black or gunmetal grey since my interior is grey. I think it looks much better than when I see other members paint the woodgrain the same color as the exterior...

I much rather have the wood grain finish, althought its not the real deal...the black finish looks more like an interga center console at a glance...clean work though...

Like is said before, on a black interior, wood grain doesn't stand out compared to a tan interior.

looking at your username, im guessing you have a TL-S which has black woodgrain, but all TL-P have the brown.. i also like the black woodgrain a lot better than the brown (i have ebony interior)

to the OP: i like the actual paintjob that was done, but in a car with parchment interior, i would just keep the wood..
