Talking aftermarket NAV

as the title states, i recently picked this little guy up from amazon. it's the garmin 350. it works really well and i'm fully satisfied with the system. i basically used a dremel to cut a hole in the CD holder to hold the navi. so far it's worked great. here's the pics.

Nice!! Is it voice directed? I always wondered why people never placed them in the dash instead of on top of the windshield.

I have the same Nav and I love it. I had borrowed a friends Garmen 2610 that he paid over $1000 bucks and does less than half of what the 350 does and could not get it back to him fast enough. I love the size of the 350 and the ease of use. I travel all over the US for work and man this has save my butt more than one time from getting totally lost. It isn't perfect but it is very close, unless you want to spend two or three times as much for the latest and greatest model out there, the 680. I got mine at Costco for $349

So is there a GPS antenna or something that has to be hooked up to that unit?

here's a pic of what the antenna looks like. it's just a small flap on the back that can go a bunch of different angles depending on how much clearance you have.

it has both. i usually plug it in with the car adapter, but it has a 6 hour lithium ion battery too. the most i use it the more i like it haha. you should check it out as an option to navi for your car if you don't have it stock like me.
