Man, you guys should just provide that swap as a service to AZ. If my wife didn't drive my TL-S as well I'd definitely think about swapping to 6 speed.

I think I might start going to the local Pick & Pull's and start scrapping together all the various parts for this, b/c I am definitely doing this.

Very nice. I haven't seen it done on a TL-S yet. Was it easy putting it together as far as the wire harness? I think I remember Kris saying it would be a little less involved on a TL-S compared to a TL-P swapping it to make it a TL-S.

Whats good Mike long time no see..Like SiCrew said The Lab is our boy Jae's shop in Ft. Lee. Prices are pretty reasonable, a few of us like NJZPrettyboy, SiCrew and myself only let Jae touch our rides.

-Of course its much easier to do the 6spd swap on a Type S engine but from what I understand it will bolt up to a TL-P also. Kris's write up should answer most questions guys have on the swap.

Sup dude. Well to answer your question, it really depends on how much the parts cost. If you can find a good deal like from a salvage yard and get a good price on the 6 speed cl-s tranny, than you have your biggest chunk there. Also, getting good prices or connections on the other parts (accessories / trim pieces / sensor / and all the other parts) will really help to cut costs. Check out Kris's thread on what's needed in terms of parts for a detailed list. I would estimate anywhere between 3-4k for a ballpark estimate. Again, that's just an estimate. It really depends on how much you get your parts for. Hope that helps

There isnt a set price, it depends on the tranny you find. It averages 3-4k for the swap

Nothing special about Jae's car no rims just dropped on H&R Springs and no kit. His thing is performance not cosmetics.
