Wink 1999 TL-P glamour shot

Finally remembered that I wanted to show off my baby.
This shot was taken after I took her on the Tail Of The Dragon last summer.

Please ignore the dents on the door haha. Parking here in Atlanta ain't friendly!

I would like it more if the car was focused and the flowers were bokeh'd!
but otherwise cool gold handles!

Hahaha, same here but my girlfriend is the photographer among us so she gets the choose the focus. I'd post pics of it being the focus, but then you'd see why I call it the "Avocardo"

lol that's an awesome nickname for the car! I'm unfamiliar with the 2nd gens, but with a name like that, it must be a deep dark green!

Yup, it's a very deep dark green. If I forget to wash her for a while, almost looks black!
I (affectionately) call her that because she's heavily pitted from what looks like hail damage on the front, and is the right color to remind me of the fruit
Whoever repainted it before the car ended up in my hands did an awful job, but they at least kept the color true.

Alright, ya'll have convinced me. Here's a front shot from that same day - this was when we pulled over by the river before the entrance to the Tail.

Note the lack of gold vinyl on these door handles - I hadn't completed this side when we went on this trip : )

Since then, I've polished the headlights and completed the gold handles, along with a re-do of the grille vinyl. I also ended up replacing the bumper after my gf parked the car in a bush, and the passenger front fender. Some frame damage from a previous owner was causing it to not sit right and rub into the passenger door, getting worse over time. Eventually the door wouldn't open unless we dented the fender in. And this was with the fender aligned as far out as it could be!
Long story short, those two parts are in better condition now but they're both red. Maybe later this summer after I manage to get that dang harmonic balancer off and do the water pump, I'll look at giving my baby the bodywork she needs.

Since the gf was the photographer in that pic, you can tell where each person's priorities are in the relationship!
