I like the rims.
If you don't want to lower it, you don't have to.
Who cares what all these other people are saying. It's your car, do what you like.
Oh yeah, and the comment about him making the rest of 'us' look bad??? WTF's with that?

Well, thnx for the pic. I've been debating '04 wheels as well, since you can typically get nearly new wheels and tires for less than $800 and low mileage sets for less than $600.
I won't go as far as to say the '04 wheels look better than stock on a SSM TLS but IMHO the right drop with '04 wheels would look pretty sharp.
We need to keep this thread alive b/c you never know until you see it . . . as for me . . . I'm keeping the OEM wheels and getting some PZero Nero.

I'd like to see if from a slight side angle to see how far the tires stick out . . if in fact they do.
I like the wheels, but do think you need to drop it a bit . . . go with the smallest drop you can tho or you'll have rubbing problems.

I put the 2004 Tl wheels on my 99tl. I got rid of them after a while since i did want to lower my car. They were rubbing and sticking out a bit (1/2 inch). Other than that they looked alright. I put my stock wheels back on.

That does look good, but I do like wheels to have the correct offset as to avoid the 'ghetto' look.
I've always prefered a lowered car not just for asthetics but for handling purposes.
....gotta have the right offset though, very important.
