i dunno... i prefer the actual cleared out look :o thats just me though, if you like it then more power to you. also, if your gonna keep it like that, replace the amber bulb with a chrome one that lights up amber.

Your car looks fine with the vinyl strip and you do need a drop.

Does asiankidd still have his TL? He hooked up mine with the video/navi mod about 2 years ago...nice guy.

I'm always in Walnut, so if I see you, I'll . I have an '03 Anthracite TLS btw. There's only one other TL I've seen in Walnut that is SSM with a kit and chrome rims, but driven by an asian girl.

looks great. i have the same ssm type-s with the kit also. but in my opinion the headlights look a lot better cleared by taking the orange reflector out and replacing the turn signal bulb instead of just taping over it. that way the lights look totally chrome and it matches with the SSM color very nicely. but still a very nice looking car.

Looks good , i also have black vinyl strip covering my refelctors , i did it about a year ago and it still looks a lot cleaner then the amber strip. Although i do really love the cleared headlights i decided that i am going to wait to do it after my warranty runs out so in case anything happens to my hids and what not i do not have to hear any crap from the dealer. Clean ride though.
