I'm sure with all the posts surrounding this swap that this question has been answered many times, but through all my searching I couldn't for the life of me find a definitive answer. I'm an 18-year-old fresh out of high school and my only experience with cars comes from owning my TL and working on a e36 for a track car, so please spare me from any insults about my lack of knowledge
To get to the point, I want to rebuild a j35a3 on a stand over the next couple months and throw the cams from my j32a2 into it before I swap the motor in. Currently have a 2g type s with 260k miles on it and have treated it well, but showed low compression recently. This will be my first rebuild, so if anyone could throw some tips my way that'd be great. My dad does know some Honda master tech he could talk to in case I need serious help, but they're not super close so I'd like to avoid that if possible.
Pertaining to my question, I'd like to know if anyone has definitive numbers for how much I should adjust the valve lash after putting the j32 cams in? Saw a thread earlier while researching about someone bending all their valves and would like to avoid that if possible.
p.s. My transmission still shifts great for its age and has been serviced fairly often, but with the increased torque and rebuilt engine, would it be worth it to go ahead with a trans swap as well? or should I wait until it decides to grenade to do that? Attached some pictures below in case you wanna see it. Thanks and sorry for all the questions!

The front cylinder head, for example, between the 1G MDX J35A3 (12100-P8E-306) automatic is the same part number as the 2G TL-S (12100-P8E-306) J32A2 automatic .
According to the guy's video below the valve lash should be the same regardless of the J32A2 TL-S cam swap:
Intake: 0.20-0.24mm / 0.008-0.009in
Exhaust: 0.28-0.32mm / 0.011-0.013in

If & when it needs a new transmission, the best one to swap is a BAYA 06-07 AV6 (non-hybrid) automatic.
Just saw a thread where someone said they bent their valves after doing this swap because they forgot to adjust clearances which made me a little hesitant.

Was the person who bent their valves possibly me? When I first swapped in my J35A3, I swapped in the J32A3 cams, but I never adjusted the lash for them. So I bent all my valves. As Zeta said, just do the normal lash adjustment that the J32A2 normally uses, which Zeta posted for you.
As of now, I've been running a J35A3 from the junkyard with RL cams with no issues. Pretty sure it needs a rebuild though. Compression seems a bit low, but I haven't measured. Might just need to be reringed and honed. So maybe soon™>
